Social
health is one of the three major aspects of total health. In the social health unit, we will examine the ways in which
one’s social roles and cultural beliefs can influence total health status.
The most significant and influential social subunit, the family, will be
discussed in detail, as will peer relationships, interpersonal communication,
relationship violence, and conflict resolution.
