Elliot Ordower - MCHS Class of 2007
Currently attends UC Santa Cruz

I came to UC Santa Cruz to soak up the stimulating intellectual atmosphere. Although studying and reading were not my fortes at Milken, I was actively involved in our community and our school's mission. However, I have now found my niche and I am now passionately interested in my studies. I have become engaged in the field of sociology. I am also exploring new extracurricular interests such as comedy. UCSC uses the quarter system. We have three quarters during the academic year and one in the summer. I take three classes at a time at a faster learning pace than a semester system. This enables me to concentrate more intensively on my studies.

The scenery is beautiful. The campus is surrounded by redwoods and overlooks the ocean. (For those of you who surf, Santa Cruz is WAY better than So Cal!)
