Daily Schedule

The daily schedule for both the Middle School and the Upper School are not completely the same. At the Upper School, students have the option to engage with the Rabbinic Director in daily Shacharit services.

The school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and formal instruction ends at 2:30 p.m. in each school. The daily schedule in the Middle School is based upon the team requirements for each team, and the daily schedule in the Upper School is based on the academic needs of the students and the departments.

Lishma - the period set aside for extra learning and makeup work - lasts from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. We encourage students to use this time as completely as possible. Lishma is held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays every week. Wednesday afternoons are reserved for faculty meetings and professioanl development. In observance of Shabbat, we do not hold Lishma on Fridays.

Kehillah includes meeting times for advisory, clubs, class meetings, town meetings, and teacher office hours.
