Tutoring

Milken offers a challenging program of studies to insure that all students have the opportunity to take the most demanding academic program possible in an effort to meet their academic needs. Milken also values individual student achievement and work and has very strict policies on academic honesty. (LINK)

The National Honor Society at Milken offers tutoring services to any student who requests or needs additional help. Arrangements are made with members of the National Honor Society and its faculty advisor.

Additionally, all faculty are available for extra help during the regularly assigned Lishma time. Students are encouraged to make an appointment with a teacher for extra help during Lishma. Lishma is held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons every week. Wednesday afternoons are reserved for faculty professional work, and on Friday faculty prepare for Shabbat.

No teacher at Milken may tutor any student at Milken for payment. Any professional tutoring arrangements must be approved by the principal of the school after referral and consultation.
