MCHS Vision of the Graduate
Milken Community High Schoolís Vision of the Graduate was drafted in the 2010-2011 school year by a committee with student, alumni, parent, faculty and administrative membership. Mission-aligned, based in Jewish learning and progressive educational practice, it was ratified by Milkenís senior leadership team in February, 2011.
Our Vision of the Graduate is structured within three pillars - Torah/Learning, Avodah/Spritual Practice, Gemilut Chasadim/Ethical Practice.

is a committed Jew who cares about the past, present, and future of the Jewish people.
GEMILUT CHASADIM/ETHICAL PRACTICE
Since we are responsible for treating ourselves and others bítzelem elohim, the Milken graduate:
combines learning, doing, and reflection.

avoids lashon hara.
acknowledges the good and engages in caring criticism.
performs regular acts of kindness.
does not stand idly by.
