The Summer Academy represents a perfect extension of the school's mission to develop students with sharp minds, generous hearts, and kind souls. Milken Community High School Summer Academy offers both credit and enrichment classes for grades 7 through 12. This unique program allows students to learn in classes offered at Milken as well as to strengthen skills for more advanced classes. Students can also acquire new skills through advanced academic classes, yet within the more relaxed atmosphere of a summer program.

The summer program at Milken Community High School seeks to provide students with the opportunity to fulfill certain pre-requisites for more advanced work during the regular school year, to allow students to pursue areas of interest and study for the sake of learning, and to complete work in areas where remediation is required.

With the normal school year being a challenging experience due to a rigorous academic curriculum, students can find ways in which to exend learning in a different way during the summer. We believe that our children’s education is comprised of more than just a classroom experience, and the summer school allows students to create time in their busy lives to participate in campus and Jewish life to the fullest extent possible.

At the same time, Milken offers students the opportunity to participate in several challenging and rigours domestic and international programs. This website can link interested students to other programs around the country and around the world.
